Europe Direct information network is a network of local and regional EU information centres of the European Comission, that operates in all of the 27 member states.
The mission of the network is to give information of the European Unions politics and programmes to the people in the area.
The EUROPE DIRECT -Information Network replaces all the Info Point Europe and Rural EU-information Centres (Carrefour) in Europe.

Europe Direct information relay Lapland is an EU information centre of the European Comission and ProAgria Lappi. The information centre is located in Keminmaa and the operational area is the Lapland county.
The relay started May 1st  2005 and continues the activity of Carrefour Lapland - Rural EU-Information Centre.
